Spare part
What it does
The sand bed is what the fire stands on. It is the quietest part of a LA\VIK and the one that changes its character most.
Swapping the sand is the cheapest way to change how your LA\VIK looks. Nothing else has to change.
Seats the burner
The fine mineral bed keeps the burner level so the flame burns even.
Holds the stones
It cradles the Larvikite stones and keeps them where you place them.
Stores warmth
It takes up the gentle warmth of the flame and gives it back to the room long after the fire is out.

- 2Seat the burner in the middle, then bed the Larvikite stones around it.

Questions
How much sand do I need?
Each pouch holds exactly one filling for the size you choose: 3000 g for LA\VIK, 900 g for LA\VIK Studio.
When should I reorder?
Sand gets displaced over time through refilling, cleaning and moving. Most people top up or replace it once a season, or switch colour for a new look.
Does the sand wear out?
No. It does not burn, smell or break down. You replace it because you want to, not because you have to.
