Easy to use in 5 Steps
1. Add sand and stones
Evenly distribute the sand to create a stable base. Then, place the Larvikite stones for a natural and elegant finish.
2. Fill in the bioethanol
Pour the bioethanol into the burner up to the MAX mark. This ensures a clean, steady flame.
3. Insert the burner
Gently place the burner into the central recess so that it sits securely for safe and optimal operation.
4. Ignite
Use the included match holder to safely light the flame and enjoy the calming glow of real fire.
5. Extinguish with ease
The included extinguishing stick allows you to safely and effortlessly put out the flame at any time.

Filled with sustainable fuel
Bioethanol is made from renewable raw materials such as corn, potatoes, or grain. These plants absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere as they grow. Through fermentation and distillation, a clean, liquid fuel is created. During combustion, the previously stored CO₂ is released and absorbed again by new plants. This creates a natural cycle that makes bioethanol a particularly sustainable alternative.

Is the fireplace safe?
Yes, tabletop fireplaces are safe when used properly. Our fireplaces are tested in accordance with EN 16647 standards and feature the VentraCore® system for added safety. After reading the handbook, you’ll find them easy to use safely, with clear instructions for assembly and operation.
Does the LA\VIK give off heat?
Yes, the LA\VIK produces heat, offering a cozy warmth that fills the space, much more than conventional candles or tea lights. While it's not designed to heat an entire room, it creates an inviting, intimate atmosphere perfect for relaxing or gathering around.
What is the average burning time?
The LA\VIK indoor fireplace has an average buring time of 3 hours by full capacity. Do not exceed this burning time to avoid over-heating.
The device must not be reignited while it is still hot.
Can I use my Fireplace indoors?
Yes, the LA\VIK Interior Fireplace is designed for indoor use.
Is the fireplace easy to move around?
Yes, the fireplace is portable and easy to move around. The air slots on the sides function as handles, and soft mats are provided for a comfortable grip inside. However, be mindful that the stones and sand inside are loose, so you should handle the fireplace carefully when moving it.
Can I place my LA\VIK on any surface (incl. glass or plastic)?
Any surface is fine, as long as it is stable and not slippery. Thanks to the VentraCore (TM) System, the base of the LA\VIK stays cool even after hours of operation.
What fuel do I need to use?
The LA\VIK Interior Fireplace has been designed to exclusively use Bioethanol Fuel. We recommend the following products (add links). Only a 96.6% multiply rectified ethanol of pharmaceutical grade purity is appropriate for combustion in fireplaces.
Refer to the handbook for safety instructions regarding filling and refilling the burner.
Is Bio-Ethanol included in the delivery?
No, ethanol is not included in the delivery.
